A few stones and the foundations remain of the 2-storey square border tower known as Bucklerhole or Bucklerhold.

Name Book 1856-98; Statistical Account (OSA) 1793 (J Dickson); New Statistical Account (NSA) 1845 (A B Murray)

No trace remains of this tower. Site lies on a natural knoll covered with rank grass. Proper name could not be confirmed.
