The site is situated on raised ground c.30m south of Duncansclett and on the west side of a footpath from that croft to Rinn. The area is of good agricultural land. Artificial mounding covers an area c.50m in diameter in which there are small cell like depressions. Several banks of earth and stones protrude from the mound to the south; west and east.
