NJ81NW 47 8393 1643

Semi-circular souterrain (or possibly, ring-ditch) revealed by air photography (AAS/89/08/S28/5-12, dated 25 July 1989). The digger driver who excavated the area in 1992 reported seeing a trench (measuring about 1.5m in depth) filled with dark soil, but no archaeological remains were revealed by sieving a sample. A small sub-rectangular depression (measuring 0.9m by 0.5m) was observed about 8m N of the electricity pole, and was filled with brown/black earth.
