The remains of a group of widely-spaced buildings are situated in moorland on the north side of Glen Cairn, some 320m south of the abandoned township of Easter Sleach. As depicted on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch map, published in 1869, the group comprised three rectangular buildings and a circular structure which may be a kiln. The three buildings are shown unroofed on the modern 1:10000 map (1971).
