The sheepfold measures c.15m in diameter, its walls surviving to a height of 0.75m. An internal lambing pen is incorporated at the northern end. The pair of bothies are rectangular, being 4m by 9m and 4m by 6m.

Lower Gleann Meinich farmstead and sheepfold () - centred on NH 2673 5323 - (Nmrs No - NH25SE 0012) The remains of three rectangular buildings (NOSAS site survey numbers 996-998) a stone built, circular sheep stell, diameter c15m (1000) and the fragmentary turf walls of a possible large enclosure (999) is located in the lower part of Glen Meinich on a gentle S facing slope on the N side of the river, S of the forest road.
