Field Visit (6 December 1993)

NN84SE 3 8935 4312

A subrectangular depression, measuring internally 4m from NNE to SSW by 2.7m transversely and up to 1m in depth, is levelled into the SE bank of an unnamed water course draining into the Cochill Burn. A channel at least 20m in length runs into the SW end, with an outflow on the NNW. It is situated in a secluded location with a supply of water and may have been an illicit still.
