Accessing Scotland's Past Project

No 21 Bridge Street occupies the upper floor of a two-storeyed building probably built in the early nineteenth century.

Entry to the upper floor is by a doorway flanked by cast-iron Ionic pilasters (flattened pillars), evoking a Classical Greek style. The upper floor of the building features raised quoins and a datestone flanked by a pair of windows.
