Archaeology Notes

NO50SE 63 563 035

(Location cited as NO 563 035). Dreel Burn Mill, 18th to 19th century. A four-storey, three-bay rubble main block with crow-stepped gables. There is a pantile-roofed two-storey kiln and the ruins of 2 two-storey and one single-storey rubble structures, each of them a lean-to. Only the axle survives of a large overshot wheel. Becoming ruinous.
